# Using the platform

## Risk monitor (the panel)

The live dashboard: LVaR decomposition with provenance, limit tracks with threshold ticks, open breaches, intraday history, the live book (venue, size, leverage, liquidation distance, funding per position) and the exposure card (gross unnetted / gross netted / net, long/short, stablecoins). Every figure carries its freshness state; anything the platform cannot verify as current is flagged stale — the page never pretends.

## Settings & governance (the app)

* **Leverage & liquidation** — perp risk detail, worst-first.
* **Off-venue positions** — attested manual holdings and the disclosed exclusions and tier-review registers.
* **NAV** — record the administrator's official NAV (insert-only).
* **Risk config** — haircuts and limit thresholds with the propose/approve workflow and full version history.
* **Manifests** — every official run's complete provenance record.
* **Audit trail** — the platform's memory of every action.
* **Users / Venue keys** — self-service administration.

## Sign-in

Everything happens on the platform's own domain: password + authenticator code, first-time setup, and password reset. MFA is mandatory and cannot be disabled per user.

## Alerts

Limit breaches, liquidation proximity, venue degradation, failed nightly jobs and reproducibility incidents are delivered by email independently of the browser — if the monitor itself goes quiet, a heartbeat alarm says so.
